The Invisalign® system is a series of 3D printed clear overlay templates called aligners which gradually straighten your teeth. Invisalign® is available for patients with a full permanent dentition. The aligners are almost completely invisible so no one knows you’re undergoing orthodontic treatment. Even better, they’re removable so there are no dietary restrictions and you will be able to bush and floss without wires getting in the way!
This system is engineered and designed specifically with teenagers in mind. Now teens don’t have to worry about embarrassing metal braces in their school photos or profile pictures. Invisalign Teen® is the clear way to straighten teeth without metal braces, using aligners. Just like traditional Invisalign®, the aligners are removable and virtually invisible which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing. Unlike your friends with metal braces, you’ll be able to eat whatever you want to! No need to avoid popcorn, pizza crust and other sticky foods. Also, you can brush and floss normally since there are no wires, metal or brackets.
Just as with adults and teens, Invisalign® has an option for early treatment in growing children. Of course the aligners are removable making it easier to brush and floss, but they are also able to treat a large range of conditions often seen in younger children. These problems can range from simple to complex including crowding, spacing and narrow dental arches. Another bonus is it’s designed for comfort, so no irritating brackets or poking wires.
Damon braces were created by orthodontist Dr. Dwight Damon. The Damon bracket uses a sliding door technology know as "self-ligation" which allows the wire to slide back and forth within the bracket. No elastic or steel ties are used with Damon brackets. That means there is less friction which results in greater comfort for the patient. In addition, Damon braces often work more efficiently, thus reducing the total number of visits to finish your treatment!
Clarity™ Clear Braces
Clarity™ braces are made of a state of the art, translucent material that blend with the natural color of your teeth. Most people won’t even realize you are wearing braces so you can smile with confidence! Unlike other clear braces, Clarity braces won’t stain so you don’t need to worry about that morning cup of coffee! Clarity is a great option for both teens and adults who worry about remembering to wear their aligners. In addition, they don’t need to be removed to eat. They are always in, so they are always working!
